I've been here once for lunch. It was pretty good. Since it was a while I don't remember what I had but do remember that it was pretty good. The price was average compared with eating establishments around. I give this 4 stars as it was good but I haven't been back for over a year. I wish there was some sort of thing that I could remember about this place to keep me coming back. I'll have to give it another shot.

My wife and I went to Callaways for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and had an amazing experience. We would recommend it to anyone. Service - The service was excellent. We decided to make a reservation since we were not familiar with how busy they got on a Saturday evening, and were happy to see that they actually got the 'reserve' part right. Even though they were not busy yet, they still had a table reserved for us when we got there. Our waitress was also very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Food - The food was absolutely delicious. We had the loaded potato skins, pork osso bucco, and port wine beef medallions. Everything looked great and tasted even better. We really got the impression that everything was cooked fresh and with great care. I had never had osso bucco before but now I will probably get it anytime I see it on a menu. Value - Callaways' menu truly has something for everyone - everything from Beef Wellington to chicken wraps. While the meals we selected were more pricey compared to our normal times eating out, the quality of the food definitely matched the price. It is a place that we'd be very comfortable returning to for special occasions as well as for "normal" meals dining out. We had a great experience at C.J. Callaways! You should try it out too!

Finally tried Callaways. Wife had prime rib. She said it was very good but a little fatty. I had the beef medallions. Was very good but asked for medium and got medium well done. Did not complain due too it being pretty good and tender anyway. Did not have an app. Salad was your basic mixed greens. Margarita was very good. Carrot cake was delicious. Price was decent. $65 that was two ppl two drinks each two meals. Julie our server was what made this review. With out her it would have been average but the above average was because of her outstanding service.

Had a gift card so we tried the place for first time. Saturday lunch was mix of couples with loud kids, table of doctors having a meeting and assorted pairs n singles.

What I ate was good but I came for the all you can eat prime rib but they were out. Waitress tells me they can do ribeye for the same price. All you can eat ribeye ok I'm in!! I start with the wild rice soup it was ok to good. So now comes my medium rare ribeye it's pretty good so I wolf it down. When the waitress come back to check on me for the second time sense the ribeye landed at my table (it's gone) I tell her I'm ready for another one!!! Well this is where she tells me that they don't do refills on the ribeye that they are just doing it for the same price as the prime but it's bigger. WHAT!!! How is one ribeye bigger than ALL YOU CAN EAT Prime rib???? But she offers me a free dessert and that was also good. So not exactly happy with how it all went down and I don't think the ribeye was as big as what is said it was on the menu so if I'm ever in Sioux Falls on a Thursday in the future I will call to see if they are smart enough to have enough prime rib on hand to to do all you can eat other wise I'm a little jaded to come here for any other reason.

I have driven by Callaway's on many visits to Sioux Falls, and my husband and I were finally fortunate enough to have lunch here. Every aspect of our experience was wonderful, and we will definitely be back. We came for a family lunch, and my brother was able to reserve a room for us so we were all together and weren't worried about the kiddos among us disturbing other diners. We arrived around 1:30. Our waitress was a super sport about dividing up the tickets, and grouped them as per our directions even though we weren't sitting in those groups. She was a true professional and really made our experience what it was. We were basically having a mini-family reunion and wanted to linger over our food, talk and enjoy each other, and she and the restaurant made that possible. I had one of the flatbread pizzas, and it was delicious, light and not too heavy, but definitely filling (I ate no supper that night), and a glass of wine. My husband was sad that he couldn't order a Leinenkugel, even though there was a large mirror on the wall for that brand of beer, so he had a Guinness on tap, as did others in our party. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the waitress was helpful and took the three kids' orders right away so that they wouldn't get cranky and antsy. My niece's pepperoni pizza looked so good, I wanted it! I thought the menu, while offering pub food, gave a wide variety so you wouldn't just have to get heavy, fried food if you were dining here. As I said, the service really made the experience for all of us. Thanks, Callaway's! We have all have wonderful memories of our reunion because of your great food and great service!

A little bit of a long wait to be seated for unknown reasons. The bison burger was excellent, service was excellent, but there were a lot of bratty kids running around the dining room (this seems to be an issue in Sioux Falls) This did not enhance my dining experience.

Today I had a burger and a side salad. The salad was large and made of various fresh greens. The burger was cooked properly with a nice grilled flavor. Service was good. I will return next time I'm in town.
